Andrew Sekel, Ph.D.Chairman of the Board

Dr. Sekel is currently the Managing Partner of Marketplace Funds. Previously, as CEO for Optum Specialty Networks, he oversaw behavioral health, complex medical and physical health clinical services that improved the overall health and wellbeing of individuals in the employer and health plan markets. He also co-founded and led several behavioral health management companies, and is a former faculty member at the University of Texas at Austin.

Henry Harbin, M.D.Behavioral Health Advisor

Dr. Harbin is a psychiatrist with over 40 years of experience in the behavioral health field. He served as the chairman of Greenspring Health Services and Magellan Health Services—which managed mental health and substance abuse benefits of 70 million Americans. He has also provided health care consulting services to organizations including the AARP, the American Psychiatric Association, and Mental Health America. Since 2004, he's served as an adviser to the Kennedy Forum (an advocacy group founded by Patrick Kennedy to push for reforms in the US behavioral system).

Robert McGrath, Ph.D.

Robert McGrath is Professor of Psychology at Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is also a Senior Scientist for the VIA Institute on Character, and beginning in 2017 a member of the Board of Directors of the American Psychological Association. He has authored over 200 presentations and publications, and has spoken extensively on the ontology and measurement of character, including presentations at Oxford University and the National Academy of Sciences.

Ramaris German, Ph.D.Clinical Advisor

Ramaris E. German, Ph.D., is a consultant, clinician, researcher, and former professional salsa dancer. She has co-authored 18 articles and presentations on mood disorders, CBT, and psychotherapy. She consults on empathy, emotional intelligence, diversity and social dynamics. She received her BA from the University of Pennsylvania and has a PhD in clinical psychology. She has worked for the Medical School at the University of Pennsylvania, Bellevue Hospital Center, VA centers, community mental health centers and private clinical institutions.

Laurie ZauggHealthcare Advisor

Laurie is an experienced healthcare executive and change leader. She spent 14 years in leadership roles at UnitedHealth Group and Optum ranging from General Management of the Employer Channel for specialty networks and behavioral health to leading Sales Operations and HR. She has an MEq in Industrial Organizational Psychology from the University of Minnesota and graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Psychology from Concordia College, Moorhead.
